Michael Magnussen
Contemporary Glass Art & Demonstration
Magnus blends bold design with traditional technique to create one-of-a-kind glass art. A graduate of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Glass Program, his work often draws inspiration from the island’s natural elements and vibrant culture. Whether sculpting in the hot shop or sharing the process with others, Magnus brings energy and creativity to every piece he touches.
Braxton Say
Hand-Spun Functional Glass
Braxton is a glass blower based in O‘ahu, known for his vibrant, hand-spun American glasswork. His pieces fuse precision with personality, often reflecting island life and bold color play. He started his journey in 2016 in the city of Eugene, OR—the birthplace of artistic borosilicate glass pipes. As an instructor at High Tide Glass Studios, he’s passionate about sharing the craft and helping others discover their own style in the flame.
